Ride For Life's annual event at the Duck Walk took on a new
perspective this year by featuring an art show featuring local
artists Moira Williams, Lynn Herring, Christian "Chopper" Happel,
Amy Stienbarger, and Adrienne Lopez. "An Evening of Art and
Wine with Ride For Life" at Duck Walk North Vineyards in Southold
raised several thousand dollars that will be used for ALS research
grants, patient services and school speaker programs, scholarships,
and education and awareness of the disease. Ride For Life is a
not-for-profit 501(c)3 fundraising organization founded in 1998 by Christopher Pendergast, Sc.D., PALS dx 1993.
